The next day Dad and I got an early start and headed off to Lima. We rode into Lima and man is Lima ever huge! Population 8 million people. And the traffic is crazy there. There is no orderly lanes of traffic everyone is splitting lanes and in-between the gaps are little 250cc motorcycles. It was sure an experience getting to our hotel. It took us an hour to get from the highway to our hotel which was only 10 km… Patience is a virtue… Anyways we got there found a place to store our bikes while we are gone and everything was good. That night we met up with Jorge, he is part of one of the HUBB Lima communities, he reserved a room for us at the hotel and got us direction, just a really nice generous man. Anyways we went for a beer with him that night.
