Today was alot of fun! Dad and I rode about 550 km from Arequipa to Nasca. And what a ride. For about an hour there along the cost of peru, all we did was turn lean and smile. That was probly one of the funnest rode i have ever riddin on. I was a happy camper, thats for sure. So after that fun ride dad and I found a hotel and set off to the city center around 6:30. We got somthing to eat at this chicken house wich was delicious. They have some really good fries. Which now dad and I have decided that on this trip we are gonna be on the quest for the best fries. You can get fries everywhere, so we are going to find out wich country, in the america's, makes the best fries :). And then that brings me to hear where I am writing this blog right now. So thats all i got to say about that.

SO WE MADE IT!!! We made it through our first boarder crossing, wow what an acomplishment. We made it into Peru without too much hassel. It still took us 2 hours to get through the boarder but it was relitivly painless. From the boarder crossing we went up to Tacna and from the we went to Arequipa, which is where we are spending the night. Arequipa is HUGE!!! It is population is 1000000 and counting. Its one of the more interesting cities we have been through so far. Im really liking it here. Anyways dad and I got a couple beds at a hostel and are spending the night there. Thats all for now. Catch you guys on the flip side

This morning Dad and I woke up and left the hotel in Antofagasto around 8. We hit the road and prepared for a long hall. We rode over 700 km today all the way to Arica. We only stopped a hand full of times for gas, butt or pee break. We made it with no problems. And on the plus side i woke up this morning feeling a million times better :D anyways thats all for now

Then the next night scince we learnt it was no fun campin, we got a couple of beds in a hostle in Caldera. And from there we drove up to where we are now, at a decent hotel in Antofagasto. But scince the night in the desert i have been not feeling too well, i think it was the dinner the night before. so now dad and i are just taking it easy in this internet cafe near the hotel. we hope to be in arica tomorrow or wherever the road leads us :) thats all for now

WOW!!! That was the longest 48 hours ever. We left the seattle airport at like 7:15 tuesday morning, got into LA around 9:15 then we had about an hour and a half to get to our next terminal for our next plane which, of course, it would be all the way on the other side of the airport and, of course, we need to take a bus to get it. Then we had to go through and get our tickets then go through security which only took an hour and when we got to our gate for our flight they we just loading it. So we made it. Then we arrived in bogata columbia  around 7:30pm (Chilliwack time).  Luckily for us we just had to walk across the hallway for our next flight, and there were no problems. We landed in santiago around 5 this morning wich really is 2 back home because we are 3 hours ahead now. So we took a taxi to Valparsio where we checked in at the Villa Kunterblunt, haha funny name. So dad and I spent the rest of the day just being tourists and having an awesome time. I could go on and on for about 5 pages of how different and interesting it is here but I hope to have pictures up soon so they can do the explaining. Anyways Im off to bed now, Dad and I have to get up at 7 because we are going to get our bikes out of the shipping port tomorrow and then the real adventure starts.
